We have a perfect rig (Class-a Diesel Pusher.) It is 24 years old and has about 120 on the clock but only 20 on the engine (2k of witch is ours)
We have learned that everything pretty much works, and we have upgraded her to modern conveniences/efficiencies. Like any home however, she deserves some neglected, and preventative maintenance. I like to save up all the “tasks” so I can make a full day of it and get back to loafing.
So tomorrow, is that day. We have some re-organizing/downsising to do and some tools out maintanance items
- Fix slide awning. 9drill out, pop in some new rivets, re-tension, etc.
- Replace “suspect” water pump ( it still works but I think the new one I have will work better)
- Reseal front window
- Seal awning shroud.
- Grease jacks (no you can’t help)
- Install battery maintainer so I can maintain the chassis batteries when parked
- Clean out Drivers Side slider
- Run Camera and network wires to DS cab
- Install CB
- Install VHF/UHF radios and extend head unit to dash
- Install New blind spot mirror on DS
- Adjust mirrors (out) on both sides
- Clean gas jet on refrigerator
- Clean furnace blower fan (rattles like my head on a Mondaymorning)
- Whatever else I discover along the way.
Stay tuned…
